Keta the Dog needs a home
Well hello there! My name is Keta and I’m a fifty-six pound pit bull mix! My foster mom says that I’m named after a type of salmon… Dog salmon! They have funny faces just like me! You see, I have a little bit of a cleft in my lip, but don’t fear! My cleft doesn’t keep me from doing anything just like any other dog, but it does mean that I drool a bit after taking a drink! I LOVE food and treats and nylabones and slippers. I’m not a huge fan of my crate (my foster mom thinks I might have a little bit of separation anxiety) but once I’m in there, I’m pretty good. Sometimes I need a reminder that singing isn’t very appropriate late at night, but I listen really well after a quick “Keta! Shhh!” I’m still a baby by most standards, only ten months old, and I would really benefit from some good training courses. In my past life, I wasn’t given a whole lot of structure, so I’m trying really hard to figure out the basics. So far, I can sit… And that’s a big deal for me! I have a lot of love to give and I really like to cuddle. I love kids and do well with dogs after a good introduction. I love being outside and greeting the neighbors, but I’m a pretty good jumper so a tall fence would be best. The three things that my foster mom loves most about me are my squishy cheeks, my wonky left ear, and that I’m very, very gentle. I like to jump up (one of those basics that I’m working on!) but I’m very soft on my feet and mostly just want you to give me a HUGE hug!
